David Moyes to Depart West Ham

After two seasons in charge, West Ham United have announced that manager David Moyes will be leaving the club at the end of the current season.

Moyes took over the reins in late 2017, initially on a short-term contract, before securing a permanent deal in 2018. His tenure has seen the team secure mid-table finishes in the Premier League, as well as a memorable run to the 2020/21 Europa League quarter-finals.

West Ham co-owner David Sullivan thanked Moyes for his contributions, stating, “David has been an integral part of the club’s progress over the past few years and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”

The search for Moyes’ successor is already underway, with the club aiming to appoint a new manager ahead of the summer transfer window.
