Families’ station safety plea as third woman hit

There has been a recent spate of incidents involving pedestrians being hit by vehicles at train stations, prompting families to speak out and demand for increased safety measures.

The latest victim, a young woman, was struck by a train at the busy city station during rush hour. She sustained serious injuries and had to be rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Her family, along with the families of two other women who were previously hit at different stations, are calling for better signage, barriers, and increased security presence to prevent such accidents from happening again.

Authorities have acknowledged the concerns raised by the families and have promised to review the safety measures in place at train stations to ensure the well-being of all commuters.

It is hoped that their plea will lead to positive changes that will make train stations safer for everyone.
